Uk homes went up on average ,£16,000 in 2021!!


UK house prices hit an all-time high in 2021 with the average home rising in value by £16,000. The increase has left the typical property costing £240,800, according to Zoopla’s latest House Price Index, with the total UK housing stock now estimated to be worth £9.5trn!!

House prices in nearly every region of the country have risen by more in 2021 than in 2019 and 2020 combined.

House prices rose at an annual rate of 7.1% in November 2021 but Wales had the strongest growth where house prices went up 11.1%.

Here at Sure south wales we have found that buyer demand has remained strong throughout the year but, the number of homes for sale has failed to keep up with soaring demand.
