Top of the Town Festival Hits Carmarthen This Weekend

With musicians on the streets, free salsa and jive lessons, creative workshops, beginners Welsh lessons and messy play and Lego activities for children there is something for everyone to enjoy over the weekend in the Top of Town Festival, Carmarthen.


Carmarthen is hosting its first ever 'Top of the Town' festival this Friday 28th and Saturday 29th of July. This will be taking place across King Street, Queen Street and Nott Square in the hope that it will become an annual event.

With musicians on the streets, free salsa and jive lessons, creative workshops, beginners Welsh lessons and messy play and Lego activities for children there is something for everyone to enjoy over the weekend. Also, don't forget your fancy dress at home as there will be a prize for best adult and child in attendance.

There is a chance to win one of 20 shopping vouchers with prizes between £50-£100 as part of the traders ‘Golden Ticket’ street promotion. Which can be one by spending £10 or more in participating independent shops in the area.
