Superhero Day in Carmarthen Town



Time to put your cape and mask on as 12th of August Superhero Day comes to Carmarthen town.

Prepare for an action-packed adventure, meet your beloved characters, and experience a day of unforgettable excitement. Suitable for all ages and free entry for everyone with no tickets required.

Meet and greet your favourite superheroes and villains as they roam the town and snap a selfie with Tumbler, the Batmobile, and ECTO-1. Enjoy exciting superhero-themed activities, including face painting and bouncy castles. Immerse yourself in a pop-up cinema experience, embark on a superhero hunt, join a thrilling fun fair, and groove to DJ workshops. There will also be a prize for best dressed superhero for both kids and adults in the superhero parade.


Dino Day in Carmarthen Town



On the 18th of August Carmarthen will be transported back to prehistoric times with dinosaurs roaming the street for 'Dino Day'.

Between 11 and 3 Merlins Walk in Carmarthen will be hosting Dino Day with Gizmo the Dino Ranger and the amazing Dinomania dinosaurs. There will also be sand art workshops, and a thrilling detective trail.

Entry forms are available at the event to become a dino detective. Information in the shop windows helps you match the clues to the dinosaurs and all correct entries will be put in a draw to win a bundle of dinosaur goodies.

Carmarthen Music Festival



A multi-venue music festival in Carmarthen on the 26th of August The Carmarthen Music Festival is a festival of live music, taking place all around Carmarthen town centre.

There will be a main stage in Guildhall Sq as well as venues all over town will be showcasing some of the best local talent from about 2 pm until late.
There is a vast mix of different styles from singer/songwriters, covers bands, folk bands to electronic, dance and drum n'bass. There will be something for everyone, with family friendly acts in the daytime, and different styles of music spread all across town.

This event is completely free to attend and being organised by the Carmarthen Round Table.
